This Privacy Policy explains how ThinqHub collects, uses, shares and protects personal data through this website (thinqhub.com), and the rights you have over your data. It is written to meet Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 (PDPL) and, for visitors in the European Union / EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
ThinqHub for Technology and Integrated Solutions ("ThinqHub", "we", "our" or "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
- Legal form: Egyptian Limited Liability Company, incorporated under Investment Law No. 72 of 2017.
- Location: Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt.
- Contact: info@thinqhub.com, +20 10 00919719.
2. The data we collect and why
We collect personal data only for the specific purposes below, and only what we need.
Contact enquiries. When you submit our contact form we collect your full name, work email address, company name (optional) and your message. We use this to read and respond to your enquiry and to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. The form includes a hidden anti-spam field; if it is completed (which indicates a bot) the submission is discarded and nothing is stored.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type). Analytics cookies are only set after you consent through our cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent at any time. If you do not consent, no analytics cookies are set.
Language and display preferences. A functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) remembers your chosen language so pages load correctly. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage and is never sent to us.
Server logs. Our host records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Legal bases
- Contact enquiries - your consent and/or the taking of steps at your request prior to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); where an enquiry is not pre-contractual, our legitimate interest in responding to business communications (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Under the PDPL, your submission of the form is your consent to the stated purpose.
- Analytics - your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); PDPL consent). You may withdraw it at any time.
- Essential cookie and server logs - necessary for the functioning and security of the website; no consent is required for these.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with:
- Resend (email delivery, United States) - receives your contact-form details solely to deliver your enquiry to our inbox, as our processor under a data-processing agreement.
- Google (analytics, United States) - processes analytics data on our behalf, only where you have consented.
- Hostinger (web hosting) - processes server-log data as part of hosting the site.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. International transfers
ThinqHub is based in Egypt and controls your data from Egypt. Some of our processors (Resend, Google) are located in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside Egypt or the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as a data-processing agreement incorporating Standard Contractual Clauses, or a recognised adequacy/certification mechanism). You can request details of the safeguards in place by emailing info@thinqhub.com.
6. How long we keep your data
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Contact-form enquiries (email in our inbox) | Up to 24 months from your last contact, or for the duration of any resulting relationship and a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal record-keeping obligations |
| Server logs | Up to 90 days |
| Language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) | Up to 12 months |
| Theme preference (local storage) | Until you clear your browser storage |
| Analytics data | As configured in Google Analytics; you can withdraw consent at any time |
| Job applications for a specific role (email in our inbox, including your CV) | Until the role is filled or the process closes, plus a short period afterwards, then deleted |
| Talent-pool applications (kept with your consent) | Up to 12 months from submission, then deleted or we ask you to renew your consent |
We do not store contact-form or application data in a database or CRM; the email in our inbox is the only copy we hold.
7. How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) transmission, a server-side contact form that never exposes credentials to the browser, anti-spam protection, and restricted access to our email systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the applicable law, you have the right to: access your data; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict its processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). You are not subject to any solely automated decision-making.
To exercise any right, email info@thinqhub.com with the subject "Personal Data Request". We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the period required by law.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may complain to the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Centre (PDPC). If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
9. Visitors in the European Union
We offer services to clients in Europe. Where the GDPR applies to our processing of your data, the rights and legal bases above apply to you. As a controller established outside the EEA, we will designate an EU representative under GDPR Art. 27 where and when that obligation applies to our processing; until then you can reach us directly at info@thinqhub.com.
10. Children
This website is intended for business professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Job applicants and recruitment
When you apply for a role through our careers pages, or send us your details for future opportunities, we process the personal data in your application.
What we collect. Your name, email address, phone number, any LinkedIn or portfolio link, your message, and your CV. Please do not include your national ID number, a photograph, your religion, health or disability information, or your date of birth in your CV or message. We do not ask for this data and do not use it in our assessment.
How we use it and our legal basis.
- For a specific advertised role: we use your data solely to assess your suitability for that role. Our legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to a possible employment relationship (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and, in Germany, section 26(1) BDSG). For applicants in Egypt, your submission of the form for the stated purpose is the basis under the PDPL. You do not need to give separate consent to apply.
- For our talent pool (keeping your details for future roles): we rely on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); PDPL consent), which you give by ticking the optional box. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who receives it. Your application is delivered by email to careers@thinqhub.com through our processor Resend (United States) and is read by the ThinqHub team members involved in hiring.
International transfer. ThinqHub receives and reviews applications from Egypt, which does not have an EU adequacy decision. For a specific-role application, this transfer is necessary to take the steps you have requested (GDPR Art. 49(1)(b)). For talent-pool retention, you consent to the transfer to Egypt when you opt in (GDPR Art. 49(1)(a)). We apply organisational safeguards, including restricted access and a defined retention period.
How long we keep it. For a specific role: until the role is filled or the process closes, plus a short period afterwards, then deleted. For the talent pool: up to 12 months from submission, then deleted or we ask you to renew your consent. Because applications are held as email, deletion is carried out manually; we complete deletion requests within the period required by law and confirm when done.
Your rights. You have the rights set out in Section 8, including access, correction, and erasure, and (for the talent pool) withdrawal of consent at any time by emailing careers@thinqhub.com, without affecting processing already carried out. EU/EEA applicants may complain to their local supervisory authority; applicants in Egypt may complain to the PDPC.
Sensitive data. We do not seek special-category data (GDPR Art. 9) or sensitive personal data under the PDPL as part of recruitment. Where such data unavoidably appears in a CV, we process it only as necessary for the recruitment decision and under the applicable employment-law basis (GDPR Art. 9(2)(b); section 26(3) BDSG).
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and we will take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes.
