This Cookie Policy explains how ThinqHub for Technology and Integrated Solutions ("ThinqHub", "we", "our") uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies on thinqhub.com, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which governs all processing of personal data.
1. What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device and reads on later visits. Local storage is a related browser feature that keeps data on your device but, unlike a cookie, is not sent to our servers with every request.
Setting non-essential cookies requires your prior consent. Strictly necessary cookies, which are required for a function you have asked for, do not.
2. Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Cookie (first-party) | Essential | Remembers the language you selected (English, Arabic or German) so pages load correctly | Up to 12 months | Not required |
| theme | Local storage (first-party) | Functional | Remembers your light or dark display preference; stored only on your device | Until you clear browser storage | Not required |
| _ga, ga<id> | Cookie (third-party, Google) | Analytics | Google Analytics 4 - measures how the site is used (pages, approximate region, device) | Up to 24 months | Required - set only after you accept |
We do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Your choices
When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies, with equal prominence. No analytics cookie is set before you accept. You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Rejecting analytics does not affect your use of the site.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome - Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies and other site data
- Firefox - Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Safari - Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data
- Edge - Settings › Cookies and site permissions
Blocking the essential NEXT_LOCALE cookie means the site cannot remember your language and may reset it on each visit.
5. Clearing the theme preference
The theme preference is stored in local storage, not as a cookie, so it is not removed by your browser's cookie controls. Clear your browser's site data for thinqhub.com, or delete the "theme" key under Local Storage in your browser's developer tools, to remove it.
6. Contact
For any question about cookies, or to exercise your data-protection rights, email info@thinqhub.com. For full details of how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
